He was a co-presenter at the Grammy's in 1986 and awarded MJ an award. You should see Nick's hair there at the Grammys - I bet even MJ thought "Who the hell is this guy - look at his hair?!"

Michael Jackson was a huge fan of Duran Duran and even rang Nick at his home (when he was still living with his parents) to talk to him.

Nope this is definitely pre-Arcadia. The fact that he refers to Pink Floyd as "techno-rock" with inflatable pigs flying across the Arena. In 85 David Gilmour of Pink Floyd contributed to the Arcadia project, Nick has too much class to talk-shit about a musician who has helped them out. Besides, I hate to sound like a girl, but Nick's hair went from this "A View To A Kill Era?" To long black in Arcadia, then cut short and dyed blonde for the Flame video into the Notorious project. Nick has not had long/big hair since The Big Thing Tour.

listen to the interview. the interviewer refers to Back to the Future, which was released in the summer of 1985. he then refers to the sound of "A View to a Kill" and Arcadia as prior accomplishments. besides, Nick's hair was blonder in the AVTAK video(May '85), and already black by Live Aid(July '85). in this interview, his hair is the same style and shade of honey that it was at the aforementioned Grammys(Feb '86). later he chopped it off and dyed it blonde for "The Flame" video(April "86").
