up on the right. that decade silver thing, what is it? it certainly looks like the promo sticker sheet... Not my copy, as i've owned a set for years, but one was sold a couple of weeks ago on eBay. (there's a link to the auction in the text)

Yep..decade promo sticker. Love the design! Tried to get hold of a decade shop floor stand from eil. Sold out as soon as they listed it! Bastards!! It was me who got it off Ebay!!... i have to agree that i really love that sticker set myself for some reason. if you're talking about the Decade stand from a couple of weeks back, then it was pulled from sale as it wasn't complete. What Eil had described as having being where tapes/CDs had been affixed, was actually where the standoff for a 2nd layer (basically a duplicate cut out of the band & Nick's rocket to give an ish kind of 3D effect) was attached... ...so i let them know & they removed it. i'd also mentioned in the 'rip off of the day' thread to hopefully stop anyone being misled by them if they didn't pull it - but they did, so kudos to them. From my understanding, it may be relisted if they find the missing layer in with bunches of other random displays they bought.

Wow, thanks for letting me/us know! I did enquire about it. God knows where I could have stored it anyway!! They told me the same information so well done you! Normally if items sell out the listing remains but no 'add to cart' if it's sold. But when I clicked the link it had been removed completely. No probs - & possibly a lucky escape if you'd not seen my post about it before they pulled it. Yeah, it's only by owning one from back in the day that i could put them right, as they'd made a reasonable assumption. Well, whilst it was certainly a bit pricey imho, i'd possibly have been tempted myself if i didn't know better. Otherwise, that sized promotional stand isn't *that* annoying to store imho - esp as they're neither hugely long nor wide. Okay, only having one large flat to store is a pain, but once you get a few then they all stack quite nicely. From my own collection, there are far more annoying things to try & store - so there's an Astronaut foam backed display thing that simply doesn't fit with all of the other flats as it's almost a metre square - rather than being a nice rectangle... ...& then there's my prototype model of Drum that i have to keep in pieces - as it's over 125cm long, obviously can't stand up independently (d.t. the keel & rudder) & the mast, by itself, is almost 160cm high. Obviously there are much bigger things that could be collected, but fortunately the biggest single thing i have, a ~87 inch (~221cm) square painting of the Rio cover from the album launch, is on canvass so it folds down nicely. [Edit] As has been commented via email, i really should unpack & roll the canvas - maybe sticking it on top of some shelving... it's just been sheer laziness on my part not doing so.
