My favourite album of 2014, with Manic Street Preachers in close second. It's pure classic Simple Minds from start to finish. I have the deluxe version, check out 'Liaison'... sounds just like Sons & Fascination era Minds! 'Blindfolded' and 'Spirited Away' are brilliant too.
And yes, I'm still alive. Just not into DD that much nowadays, I'm intrigued to hear the new stuff though.

Wish I could share your enthusiasm for the Simple Minds album, but one thing I will say for it is that they're not trying to be trendy, it sounds like a Simple Minds album, which is cool in my book.

Yeah, in essence it does for Simple Minds what AYNIN did for Duran Duran. The critics absolutely adored it too... www.metacritic.com/music/big-music/simple-minds
