mr Hudson is the continuity in this project, nile and mark just co producers as i get it.

You only get one chance to make a first impression; selecting the right lead single is crucial. AYNIN was hurt by releasing the title song as it's first single; it was not embraced by the general audiences. The band obviously thought it was the right choice. 14 has to have a single that coms out the gate strong and creates interest in the album.

Didn't Simon say some time ago (sorry folks, losing track of DD#14-time) that he'd written an amazing lyric of which he was very proud? This sounds more like a ballad. Wonder if that potential track has bitten the dust somewhere along the line?

If Nick has said something along the lines of #14 being a notable record, ala the Wedding Album, have to believe it's not gonna be a hip hop album. My take is actually that it'll be a modern "Big Thing" in that there are dance tracks and a good number of darker, moody tracks. Either way...excited! My credit card is waiting...
