Thanks for the info Mavie. For me, it doesn't matter matter if there's 3 Ronson/ Rodgers songs or not as long as the best songs get chosen for the album. After all Safe was crap and so was Wild Boys and Ronson and Rodgers were separately involved with those. I just hope the first single is the right choice!!

not fake! The songs sounds finished to me they just won't be mastered and maybe there is a radio edit etc Pressure off is just so polished and very different than the rest of them (4)- Janelle has a amazing piece in middle 8 Kill me with silence - reminds me of an updated Love Voodoo musically and in the verses - and the chorus is more balled like What are the chances is a big ballad with amazing different sounding guitar (steve Jones or john F - the latter i think) and incredible strings - most Duran song on here and could be on any of there albums actually Last Night in the city is current fav - huge chorus and really well done - this could be a single for sure - kiesza on this and she is on it a lot Paper gods is like New Religion v the Valley - very dark and epic and really is amazing - unlike anything they have done - def Muse/Depeche Mode dark and political lyrics i think all songs 4 min plus there is NO guest appearance on the album for anyone starting with B - Katy confirmed this and i asked if it happened or not e.g. could it be a bonus track (didn't get a reply) Lindsay Lohan is on the album! I also think Nile and Mark only have 2 tracks that made it - I know the second song title but can't share yet hope interesting Have to go Sounds good! Thanks for all the detailed info. But if you have a "current" fave, does that mean you have these songs with you? On you? You have that link Warner sent to radios?

I think the mail is genuine and that these (or other) songs will be released on youtube before the album is released. Well, Pressure Off is released in july but if they follow the same route as the (very successful) last Blur album then more songs will be released prior to the album. But the thing is : Blur had some official videos without any of the bandmembers in them. Duran would want to be in the video's I guess.

Many of the bigger acts are releasing as many as four tracks before an album is even released nowadays, so it's quite possible that we'll be able to download/stream the songs in the weeks leading up to September 11th/18th. If something leaks at some point before that, then it might be even earlier for all we know.

Paper gods is like New Religion v the Valley - very dark and epic and really is amazing - unlike anything they have done - def Muse/Depeche Mode dark and political lyrics i think Sounds like Depeche Mode? OMG, that would be a massive orgasm for my ears!!!

Are we sure this is real? I mean... Why is Warner sending 5 (five !!!!!!!) tracks out to a radiostation while there is nothing out to promote yet? Sometimes record labels do that - usually these things are called "samplers". Did you expect WB to send out the entire album? That would be the label's worst nightmare - send out the whole album and then it gets leaked (not like THAT has ever happened before!). Here's a good example of a sampler with a few tracks: www.discogs.com/Thompson-Twins-Interview-Sampler/release/2152298So, this promo interview record had four tracks of the upcoming album.
