a view to kill (eiffel tower, bond girl) Union of the snake ( snake and lizard king) Wild boys ( mouth) Decade ( rocket) Perfect day ( icecream) Girls on film (sumo) Rio (eye, pink phone, saxophone) The chaffeur ( hat) 7 and the ragger (tiger) More? What you identified as a 'Bond girl' could also very well be a nod to the "Electric Barbarella" video.
Also, I wonder if all of these will be peel-off stickers or something on the physical album?
My first thought on the girl was one of the dancers from the Notorious video....or even the dancer in the middle part of the All She Wants Is video...or well...they have had a lot of women in their videos I give up!

Let's hope it is for promo use only indeed, if not then this would by far be the ugliest record cover they have ever done.
Personally I think a pciture of the band should be on it in some form.

Paper Gods is a trilogy of books by an author called Amanda Sun. Maybe the song is based around these? Maybe the trilogy of books featured on Simon's Reader section some months back? papergods.wikia.com/wiki/Paper_Gods_Wiki

I am guessing the shoe might be a reference to the "come undone" single sleeve, although not the same shoe! I wouldn't put it past them that this could be the official cover art, it looks more like cover art for a best of album, we shall see! I guess the shoe can be a reference to the Skin Trade video. And someone referred the girl as a Bond girl, but i think it suits Notorious or Skin Trade (videos) better. Nice nods to the past but i sincerely hope this is not the official front and back. I think it looks cheap and is not meeting DD standards.

Ah... I see others also referred the girl to Notorious or Skin Trade. :-)

Could the title be a play on "Rock Gods" and the game Rock-Paper-Scissors? We know that paper beats rock in the strategy game, so "Paper Gods" would be better than being "Rock Gods." Is the song a commentary on the band's status and (lack of) respect by some critics in belonging in the rock & roll pantheon?
I like the title but would hope the album gets a more dramatic artwork treatment (not pastel colors.)
