What is Tom’s connection with DD? Is he in the industry, or is he just a super fan like Durandy? I called him back in 1997 to buy a bootleg from an ad in the Goldmine issue that is being talked about in another thread. Super nice guy, sold me some of the best bootlegs I’ve ever bought…but the best was just talking to him about DD (this is before social media or being part of any kind of DD fan community. I’d only ever had similar convos with John at Record Runner in NYC.) Remember when the Record Runner D2 mailing was a written list? Then a dot-matrix print out?!?! Soooo long ago... I was never on it! I discovered Record Runner via a reference in the Bang A Drum fanzine in the early 90’s, and made a few pilgrimages later in the decade (NYC only a 90 minute train ride away).

I don't think he's in the industry but he was credited on some Duran releases (probably because of his extensive discography)

Hmm...is there a complete discography around anymore??? Don't think so..... The last update was in 2016 and I see now that the link to this also have been removed. Not when a lot of it has to be corrected Seems as he was working quite a long time on it, and as he said he added 63 pages to your discography... honestly hope, that you also had some positive feedback for him. hello there, i have been slowly working on update to the discography, but its going to more of a visual one. maybe generate a PDF and print a book. i would like to use information from your site ansgar, if thats OK, i'll share it with you both, if you want to check it out. it would be in the style of simple minds visual guide, or the pet shop boys discography ------- my plan is ONLY to do 1980 - 1985 [part 1] to make it more manageable, and because those are main releases i like. i'll post some updates in a month or so. i'm just gathering data for now. ------ scans discogs listings - cleaning up spreadsheets of information; duran duran - visual discography
