Maybe the video, but I don't like the version. sorry. on a good note he singer can sing it in the right pitch as opposed to the lower key DD performs it live.

Good video soundtrack. Wasn't a fan on Mad Max (I like the old school version), but it worked with the video.
The cover? Interesting...

I just have a slight problem with the video...those are WILD GIRLS! But Tom Hardy is still the main Wild Boy...lol

The song really suits the video or vice versa. And I like the way the cover is an accessible way for younger fans to access the DD back catalogue. It is again demonstrates the strength of Duran songs that they can be covered in multiple genres. Not everyone does it credit though

That's not all that bad... I kind of like the vocal layering on that version. Interesting. I have definitely heard worse.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I got around to watching the Mad Max movie (2015) last night, and it was a good movie. I'm not usually in to modern stuff anymore, and mostly watch movies from 80 years ago, but I was instantly surprised by how much this made homage to Burroughs Wild Boys. In some respects, they totally use some of the iconic imagery from the Duran video, including a guy walking around on 4 stilts, and lots of things which reminded me of the video. Strangely, no mention of Burroughs on any of the Wiki pages for Mad Max, or mentioned in connection to William S. Burroughs, even though the look and feel of the movie is unmistakable. I think the video and the music posted in the first post really do go together well, and it would be nice to include the Wild Boys drum beat in the next movies. I give the Fury Road movie 7 out of 10, while Mad Max 2 I give 8, so not too bad really. EDIT: haha, just found this Song Vs Movie comparison: idlehands1.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/working-theories-mad-maxs-war-boys.html
