Great job! I've got 2 demos of 'I am the Medicine'. One is just a cut off version of the other, and even the longer one seems like it isn't a full song either. Ultra Trax is alright. I think Fiesta is similar to Gemini - but then again I could be mistaken and confusing it with another, but still - GREAT JOB! And WHY was this person unloading this? ??

I've known several people that have unloaded their collections over the past few years. Just part of the cycle of fandom.

Agreed, i think the move away from owning physical copies of music/film has really accelerated recently for various reasons (technology, trends, lack of space, percieved unfashionable to hold onto outdated formats etc) but its great for hoarders like me, i just bought 250 unplayed indie cds here in Oz for Us $40 a lot are doubles/rare, happy days

Congrats!
That’s great and sad at the same time. Great you scored such a good deal, but sad because it means that this obvious DD fan has either lost their love for the band, or is in such desperate need of money that they felt forced to sell their DD stuff! Whatever the case, it’s always comforting when you know your old stuff is going to a good home where it will be appreciated!

Lots of good stuff here and those covers brought back some great memories. I had many of these except for the first three on the top row, and Strange Behaviour, although I found .mp3s most of those songs. Still a great find!

Yeah, I sold almost the lot when I wanted to move house, and still gutted that my £2000 worth of gear was sold for half that. I made the trip into the next county, as a big high street dealer promised to take a look at my stuff. I brought in the boxes and they cherry picked the rare and best stuff and offered peanuts for it. I should have sold the lot to a private dealer I had been working with, and he was gutted I'd sold it and offered a reasonable amount for the rest. He had made me promise I'd not sell my stuff to anyone else, but forgot I made the promise until it was too late, and regret this mistake even now, and just as regretfully. Here is my ex-collection in case you are interested, along with what I paid for them at the time. You have some way to go to catch up, but with the internet today, its all possible. duranduranboard.proboards.com/thread/36504/ex-collection-list-discovered
