A rather nice cover. Following this I just had to get the original out from the singles box set. It's desperately pretty and still sounds wonderful.

My favourite "cover" remains this one: Even better than the original IMO Yeah my favourite is this one too However it's not quite a cover if DD are playing it and your're spot on, It is better than the original, one can totally get lost in it and shouldn't all music (if it's good enough) take you away somewhere when you listen to it?

Yes, I wrote "cover" because this version took it to a completely new level. And Warren should be given credit for a major part of it, I think. I really like how Simon sings it here, perfect perfect voice. Simon , Nick and Warren in perfect armony (at least musically). I know that this period (1998) is considered a deep low for them, on the contrary I think that Simon's voice was at its best, even if he wasn't satisfied with the things happening for them at the time ( or maybe I should say BECAUSE of it... it's well known that artists give their best when they suffer... sad but true)
