I have a really yummy mexican hot cheese dip that's super easy to make and I ALWAYS get asked the recipe when I bring it somewhere. You just bake it in a glass pie dish and serve it with tortilla chips.
2 - 8 oz cream cheese 1 - 8 oz bag shredded mexican cheese (Kraft) 1 - 8 oz carton sour cream 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies 1/2 - 1 Tbsp. ground red pepper ( I use the whole tablespoon, but I like it HOT!)
Set aside 1/2 of the sour cream and about 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese. Mix everything else together in a large bowl with a hand mixer.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
After it cools a bit spread the remaining sour cream on top and sprinkle the shredded cheese. (You can even add sliced black olives on the top if you wanna make it look a little more presentable)
It's better if you serve it warm, but you can always re-heat it in the microwave if you're making it ahead of time.
Hope you enjoy it!

Of course if anyone is in the Baltimore area on the 22nd of September, please feel free to drop by. There'll be plenty of Durannies in la casa de Daisybell. I'm trying to get Scott to make more of those white chocolate rapberry mousse cups if that helps the bribe.

I have one I love - I make a savory tart with pear, a small smidge of roasted onion, a smear of ricotta, and pancetta. And then I cut it into small pieces. I always have to make three or four pans, they disappear so quick. I just keep three semi-baked crusts with the toppings already on in the fridge - they only take about 12 minutes to cook. Take one out, pop another one in.

Baking brie in mini pastry cups and then topping with sliced grapes is very yummy. A friend has also baked it topped with apricot jam.

Try Ling Ling's Postickers because they're really easy to make & they taste great. You can find "Lin-Ling's Potstickers" at any Safeway, Tom Thumb or Von's grocery store.

An quick, easy and delicious snack. Individual Strawberry Cheesecakes Cut the stems out of a pint of fresh strawberries. In a bowl cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and a bit of vanilla extract to taste. Fill the strawberries with the cream cheese mixture. For a little extra flavor you can sprinkle a bit of crushed graham crackers on top of the cream cheese mixture as a garnish or a little bit of whipped cream. this sounds yummy! i think i'll have to try it.
