You all are way too obsessed with streaming numbers. This really doesn't capture everything due to physical media etc. Duran Duran had their biggest moments way before streaming was a thing.
My friend and I are both a bit old school and that we do not stream as our primary source of music consumption and this is probably typical of many fans.
Sure it's great that Invisible is getting noticed on Spotify and with gamers...
The Spotify model also killed music as we knew it though so keep it in perspective.

What would you do, Andre? And how much would you spend of the band's money to do it? Get back on SNL! Get a major song on Stranger Things! Be on an award show..Push spotify on Social network which they rarely do..so many things can be done.. blog.groover.co/en/tips/spotify-streams/Your answer is like saying it’s easy to make a billion dollars—just invent something! Everything you suggest is easier said than done. So I’ll rephrase: HOW would you do that? And how much would you spend of the band’s money to do it? I think you’ll discover, as management has, that it doesn’t pencil. Otherwise they’d be doing it.

thats a general problem in music. even with physical records composers never got that much from each album sale. Well you can tell that to someone I knew from the '90s who only co-wrote one song and used the royalties to buy a $90k house.😉😛 "Joshua Cougle"

Hungry like the wolf was already featured on stranger things. 🤔😉 It was GOF and I think that songs was on for less than a minute at a house party. The song for DD has to be a featured song that is part of the plot like Running Up that Hill..how? Hope that the producers/ creators are huge fans of the band and takes Mgmt. to make a deal...not easy but not impossible... Always wanted DD to play SNL..streams always go up for artists..Not sure if DD is banned but Jlo was there a few weeks ago and he does bring back legacy artists from time to time. Again, not impossible. I have been pushing for DD to get on NPR Tiny desk. Seen lots of artists streams go up and get millions of eyeballs once show drops on social media..so many thing out there that doesn't take $$$ but aggressive mgmt and PR..I'm not seeing that so far.. DD has time in May if they can swing it to tape the show in DC? I sent all info to mgmt..haven't heard back... Dom wants to do it. Simon says he's open to it but says Mgmt has to okay it. Many things are possible but maybe the band doesn't care and hence no aggressive push by Mgmt..I don't know but from what I have seen they aren't very proactive in 2024..2022 because of RnR Hall of Fame they were everywhere...doing everything..so maybe they said slow down we are tired, want to spend time with family etc...whose to say but there are opportunities. PR was pushing Spotify last year and in 2022..nothing this year..she doesn't even say anything about Spotify anymore--these are the little things that I am talking about... SPOILER ALERT for whoever has not watched yet: This is the kind of song that DD needs..we know the brothers are fans of the band, but it has to be a song that is part of the plot like Kate Bush's--look what that song did for her...it got her millions of dollars, song was streamed in the millions and reappeared on the UK charts..all because of this major scene..I think the song was also heard in 2 other scenes not counting this big one..that is what DD needs..again all about timing and doesn't always work but when it does..look out!
For those that haven't seen the show--she is listening to Kate Bush's Running up that Hill on her walkman and she said the song means a lot to her..www.businessinsider.com/spotify-wrapped-running-up-that-hill-most-streamed-throwback-song-2022-12
