As a big DD fan, I'm still amazed how many quality ''unknown tracks'', bonus tracks, demos, mixes, B-sides etc. they have. So I made a selection of my 35 favourite ''not well known'' tracks, mixes and demos (there's one that isn't actually a DD-track but I did include it). I organized them chronologically by appearance. It's cool to hear their progression in sound throughout their albums, but also hearable through these lesser known tracks. What are your favourites?

I like the instrumental version of Tel Aviv but the original version could have been the best song on the self-titled album. It's hard for me to understand why they left that version aside. Maybe it didn't fit with the sound of the rest of the album. Maybe if Duran had released a previous album in 1980...
I also really like Take It To me, I hope it is one of those songs that they intend to conclude for that supposed Anthology to be released at some point. Perhaps originally the sound of the album had this idea printed on it but in the end they took that funkier direction with Nile Rodgers and these types of songs could hardly fit on Notorious.
Capitol Chill/Bomb is a song that I would have liked to see included on Big Thing, I find something of the INXS sound in it. Maybe I would have added it to Side 2 of the album, leaving The Edge Of America as a beautiful b-side to a single (I can do without Lake Shore Driving).
Worth Waiting For, I think it is the best that was among those Liberty demos, they should have made an effort to complete it and then the album would be much better, it is a song that would have brought maturity to the album, like Serious, Antarctica or the homonymous song.
I like Falling Angel much more than half of the songs on the wonderful Wedding Album, I don't know if it is a song that they concluded after finishing the recordings, since other songs like Stop Dead or Temptation were originally going to be part of the album (fortunately they completed Come Undone and they added that version of Femme Fatale).
I liked that version of Virus live, in those first concerts of the reunion in Japan in 2003, but I think it lost a lot of energy in its studio version. Even so, I like it a lot more than almost everything they chose for the final version of Astronaut, where to my taste they also destroyed (at the level of arrangements and production) the wonderful original version of What Happens Tomorrow, but that is a story for another day...
