That isn't what is being talked about though. Talking about the kids... I know a couple of guys who are 'obsessed' in the true sense of the word with Nick. In highschool they had to have HIS hair colour, cut, clothes style, etc. It hasn't abated throughout the years. So no, it's not JUST a chick thing! Remember when fans were friending one of Andy's kids? I think most of those were women. I used to speak to two of those women. Used to until they pulled that crap. Still, there is a certain male fan who's just as bad as women.

I don't know . . . perhaps there's just this sick "need" in SOME fans to try EVERY avenue to meet the guys. That's why there's bodyguards! LOL

If Electric City or Juke or Hungover Stuntmen request an add, I'll add them, but I won't seek them out, nor would I seek out any DD kids just to get to the band. THAT IS SICK!!! I don't have a problem with the over 18 kids pics turning up in magazines. I don't think they're exactly targets for the papparazzi since they themselves aren't famous, and their dads aren't front page of the tabloids material.

Being extremely bored I decided to google the whole court thingy. I had never heard of it before this and really, it doesn't interest me all that much. I scrolled through it to get the gist of it and ya, big deal 2 more parents going through a custody battle. Bet that doesn't happen at all EVER! As for the way she looks, I haven't seen any close up photos of her, nor really do I care to go looking for them. I think the closest one I have seen is she is standing in back of Meredeth, minding her own business (that was posted over at the temple of st nick) She's not even looking at the camera. Who cares what she looks like? As for googling the kids, I rarely, if ever do it and when I do it is because of threads like this and too much time on my hands. I don't agree with hounding them. They didn't ask to be born into the spotlight. I know that it is inevitable, but I don't make it my business to go around trying to find out what they are up to.

When you are a PUBLIC figure these things happen whether you like em or not. There are too many nosey people who just GOTTA know what is going on in your life. And unfortunately there isn't much that can be done because of the media or the fans. That is the downside of being someone in the public eye. When you get into a band or in the movies or anything public, you're entire life becomes something different. Us lowly people that don't have a public life are used to privacy. So some of us may not like the fact that there are discussions about a public figure's life. Well, the best thing to do then is ignore it. If you don't wanna know about something, look the other way. Nicely put MistressIce heres an OLD interview where Nick talks bout his divorce and fans (sorta) if anyone is interested. www.drdrew.com/DrewLive/article.asp?id=641an interesting comment made in reference to N'SYNC

I have been very busy lately offline and that's why I haven't had the opportunity to log on here sooner. I want everyone to know that I am deeply sorry for posting the link of the court papers on the board. I did delete the link shortly thereafter this thread started. Please accept my humble apology. OMG! I can NOT believe this is so easily listed on a public directory, can you? It's VERY unfortunate that these private papers are so easily available to the public! Are you not from the U.S., then? All court records are open to public view. I was surfing through "Nick Rhodes" listings and came across the records, too. It made me sad. As for pics of the kids- for safety reasons, I wouldn't want recent pictures of underage kids posted anywhere. But celebrities often trot out the whole clan for holiday specials, charity events, and women's magazines. If a star's child is over 18, there's nothing wrong with posting the occasional pic. I just don't want the kid's address, or any other personal info to come up. Before first noticing it, I never realized that court records are open to the public for consumption - of course not!
