Reverb on Ragged Tiger February 19th, 2008
Seven And The Ragged Tiger has a really unique reverb sound (drums, lots on the keys) that I’ve never heard in quite the same way on other records. Do any of the guys remember what reverb units (plates? digital?) were being used in tracking/mix down? Best guess?
“There is no simple answer to your reverb question. We often used studio reverb plates however, we used about every gadget you could possibly plug in to make that record. There was a lot of AMS reverb and probably Lexicon. NR”

Okay, sometimes these questions blow my mind. I can certainly understand someone wanting technical advice, sure, but asking them to remember what they were doing in the studio more than two decades ago?
