As for Roger's comment...sorry to be negative but it was a bit noncommital. Well, to be fair Roger doesn't have a lot of control over the venue's policies and he was probably concommital because he didn't want to make the band look bad by making promises he can't keep. It doesn't sound like the Adelaide venue has the best in handicapped seating, but without knowing what options are available I think Roger gave the only answer he really could give.

That's terrible of the venue for treating the fan so rudely, but God Bless Roger for being a gentleman about it.

I dont see why they cant take her up the back ramp and let her sit in the wings off the side of the stage!

And sit by herself?? She is going with a group of friends, all she wants is to be able to sit with her friends and enjoy the show. Just like she does at any other venue.

I think we would all agree that a large portion of the joy that comes with seeing Duran live is doing it with your friends. Vicki doesn't want special treatment - she just wants to be able to have fun with her friends.
I still can't believe they are using the excuse, "people will stand up in front of her".
f___ off, really?

So if people are going to stand up in front of others, shouldn't short people be discriminated against as well? Maybe the bastards could put one of those amusement park things at all the ticket outlets: "You must be this tall to purchase floor seating!"
