wow thats is reeeeeeally big ! i hope DD can sold at least 85% of that bigggggg place Well it was infamously known as the "Millenium Dome" the biggest flop of an idea that ever was but since becoming a concert arena its enjoyed sell out success. Anyway tickets! I got pretty pants seats using presale (Block 110) and would of expected better but why cant you phone up an operator and actually speak to someone to book your seats and basically choose where you want to go!? I can only assume because of the mass volumes of calls that it cant be done. But seeing as i regularly take trips to the West End for the theatre and get quality customer service with the chance to get good seats it leaves me with a some what bad taste in my mouth with the way music gigs sell their tickets - infuriating to say the least!

I think the first Earls Court sold out, but the second concert didn't sell as well; I don't think it sold out. Maybe somebody who went can tell us for sure...

It will be interesting to see what they actually achieve in terms of sales . . . I wouldn't have picked such a large venue. The one in Vancouver has been significantly shrunk to "fit" the need for tix.

In what way, Tin? I've looked at the Vancouver venue map on one of the ticket sites and I can't tell how they've changed it to make it any smaller...

They have crammed the stage and seating all to one end of GM Place. The Pontiac Bowl is smaller than even the Astronaut tour seating arrangement. Usually there are two more sections on either side open for seating.

I'm bumping this thread as Ticketmaster is currently offering lower tier block 101, near the stage as 'best available'.

Well that explains why good tickets are like gold dust. Ticketmaster are about to launch HOSPITALITY PACKAGES at £285.00 for a few nibbles and a pay bar. What a rip off to music fans. They did this for Proince and I happen to know it was a big success (financially for them) and i know a few people who went and were very very dissappointed. It's basically DDM VIP but more expensive and without the chance for meet and greet and the food is even worse and it tends not to be the hardcore fans you know from the boards etc..

How much? ? I seats I flagged up are £55 and look pretty good. However the 'additional charges' are a complete rip off. I bought two tickets which should have cost £110 total - by the time I'd got to the end of the booking process, with added service charges and even a £2 charge to print an e-ticket (the cheapest method of obtaining a ticket) it came to £125!

In answer to the earlier question - second night at Earls Court wasn't sold out, I'd say it was about 3/4 full.

I've not got tickets yet- and given the set lists on this tour I'm inclined not to bother this time round- but I'll wait and see what comes up nearer the time- as for £285 (plus £50 booking fees) for a ticket- well they can fcuk right off as far as I'm concerned- you have to be certifiable to spend that much on a concert ticket
