We had an inch of snow this morning and now it's virtually all gone. You'd think if it's going to come it would stay a while.
Obviously in the UK there was absolute chaos, I mean a whole INCH of snow!!!

I'm in Florida & we have had very little chilly weather this year. We suffer through the summers looking forward to some nice chilly days but this year it's been a rare occurance to be below 70 in the day. It's supposed to be 50 tonight & raining so the weekend should be nice.
I didn't know snow was so rare in the UK that it would cause chaos. It certainly would here! We had flurries about 20 years or so ago & it was very exciting.

Snow isn't rare in the UK - it just somehow manages to take people buy surprise everytime. Days and days of advance forecasts don't help. lol No snow for me this morning.  I did drive through a little flurry on my way to uni but it's too wet to lay. On the plus side, it did snow when I was on the outdoor ice rink at the Centre for Life (a place in the centre of Newcastle which has an outdoor rink every year) which was very picturesque. |

We are supposed to get nailed starting tonight until Friday. We are all praying for a snow day at work. But then the weathermen lie and we get bupkiss everytime.
