I Started My Shiny New Career Today!

Ok... so maybe it is not too shiny yet, but it is a new career!

I am now working for a company that transports shows from venue to venue. I will be learning all about the ins and outs of a tour from the inside (way inside) out. At the moment I am doing payroll and pick up work for anybody who is swamped. Hopefully in the future, I will be able to use some of the connections that I will be making to wheedle my way into the inside of tour production.

Currently, the tours that we transport for are:
Pink (Supporting our dear friend Justin Timberlake)
Gosh Groban
Billy Joel
Dancing With The Stars
Christina Aguliera
Hughey Lewis
Godsmack
The Cheetah Girls

I can't wait until tour season really kicks up!

(As a side note, I have been contacted by Pixar about a job that is opening up. They had heard about me from a friend who is a producer. There is a Asst. Mgr. Position Open for Digital Shorts ... Could I see myself doing a career change so soon? I guess when it rains it pours...)

The opportunity at the tour company sounds very promising, but if there is a chance to snag that Pixar job, go for it! They are a great and fun company to work for (says a friend of mine).
