You can add 'credits' to this board to pay for taking the adverts off for a limited time. It looks like somebody added 7 of them which means the board can be 'ad free' for 50,000 'hits' of the page. Whoever sent them, thanks!  |

Not me.... although they bugged me at first, I actually found some very funny. There is clearly some kind of 'word trigger' which chooses the ads on each page. For some threads, this has been VERY entertaining recently.... ;D ;D

How do you do that? Cuz if you need money to run this board let me know Mark and I'll try to help. I'm sure I'm not the only one either. You're my friend and it's so great of you to do this for us, the least we could do is help you out.

Well...there were 7 'credits' there today, and the only thing they can be used on (at the moment) is making the board ad-free. Proboards charge $7 for every 50,000 page hits ad-free, and that is within a calendar month. Page hits don't roll over to the next month. We've already had 150,000 hits in less than a week, so it would start getting expensive. The poll I made about ads show that most people don't mind them. Nice to see if ad-free for a few days though |
