Where do you download music from? Any suggestions besides iTunes and eMusic?

I download music from a couple of music sites. People will usually post unreleased demos, concerts, etc. If you want I can look for the website links. Rhino has music downloads available also.

I'm actually more interested in albums/singles (=buying them legally, since it's easier to do than hope that I'll ever find some interesting CDs at the local stores here... ) than demos and bootlegs, but please, do post any links if you have the time.

I'll find the links when I get home. They are bookmarked. I can't access them at work. I believe that Amazon and Best Buy have downloads available. I just read about a small label that has digital downloads. I'll have to see if I can find the article.

I don't download music. I want to keep the CD alive as long as possible! I need my liner notes and artwork.

I can't afford to buy CDs of everything I'd like to hear... sadly, downloads are often much cheaper.

hey VS.....i've been downloading quite a bit of music from this site, www.gomusic.ru/. it's a Russian based website, but you can change the language to English. they've got a lot of import singles that you'd usually have to buy through amazon.com or other sites like that....plus, you do find an occassional rarity. if anyone is interested, GOmusic.ru also has the DD Singles box sets listed....so you can download all of them from this site....
