I currently have a couple of weird coworkers. One of my coworkers I call the drama queen/martyr. She's a complete psycho. No matter what happens she wants sympathy. Even when the incident had little to do with her. She claims she's overworked. Meanwhile she's on the phone all day. She constantly cries. For no reason she'll start throwing things. She tries to get everyone one else to do her work. She reported me for not doing her work. She claimed it was my work. She accuses others of things they aren't involved in. She accused me of spying on her. She accused another coworker of stealing her candy. I avoid her. Most of my coworkers can't avoid her (she's the department secretary). I'm sure I'm not the only one who has coworker horror stories.

Then wear aluminum on your head and tell her that you're protecting yourself from "them". Is she really that much of an asset to the company that all of you can't get together and make her really go crazy and quit?

I remember working with a gal who wasn't "all there" in the head and it was very obvious. we're both in food service and the poor soul had a carton of milk out for 3 hours and put it back afterwards. My only concern is someone is going to get sick as a result of not following food safety rules.

Yeah she does need help. It's kind of funny in a way. It would be funnier if she wasn't always getting someone else in trouble. I've worked with bizarre coworkers in the past. My other current coworkers are strange too. More of the complain/gossip variety.

When I was a CNA, we had one who was a real idiot. I will never forget the day that she took talcom powder and spread it all over the floor of a patient's room. Then brought him in, walking accross that floor. We all questioned why she did that. Her answer was, "well I just gave him a shower." "Okaaayyy...but why did you put it on the floor and not him?" we asked. She never did give us an answer to that. She was a real weird one. Weird and stupid. Not a good combination.

From the things you said I will explain what her problem is.
The woman has a point of view disorder. She feels stressed out and cant do anything because of her stress. Suggest to her that she should get one hour more of sleep at night and cut out sugar. Then tell her to seek therapy because her stress isn't as bad as she thinks it is.
I feel like her sometimes and I freeze (meaning, I cant do anything so I don't). It is general anxiety.
edit to add: she's a psycho and they have drugs for it.

My boss has ZERO social skills. He is even incapable of saying "good morning" after I do. He looks mad all the time. Once, he tought I was getting too personal by asking him what kind of music he likes!!! He's weird.
The worst part is that we work with college students all day, and he hates the students! Our population is really suffering from his lack of leadership. My boss won't fire him, because he technically is doing his job, but we all want him gone so badly!!!
Time for me to leave. I've applied for a texhcing position at a middle school. I hope I get it.
Good luck with yours.

There was a lady that worked for me on the receiving dock who was constantly pretending to be injured at work... just begging for LTD. We all cheered the day she finally f**ed up bad enough to let her go.
