i have scanned this thread and been amused. i also wanted to add that i am pretty sure the auto-edits (or as i call them "censors" LOL) can be changed by the moderator ... by that i mean that, for example, it could be set up to change "Monday" to "New Moon on Monday"
a friend of my had a website and did this in the chatroom - certain words were set up to "auto-edit" to a themed word or phrase that fit in with the subject matter of the website. it was fun

EDIT: DOOD. if you type "s p oon" in all lowercase letters, it comes out as "spoon" with the poon in all caps. bwahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha!!! it shouts the poon part of the word. this just keeps getting better... |

if you ever try to say "my a ss" it will come out as "i disagree" i tried to say i was "sitting on my a ss" and it came out i was "sitting on my disagree." i wonder if that's painful?? |
