That is pretty cool actually. I'm tempted. One of the best things about TFF were their b-sides for The Hurting and Songs. Many of them are verrrry dark and eclectic to say the least and that's the sort of stuff I like.

i love TFF as well...i have a full collection of 12 inches and the remixes of the tracks and b-sides are some of the best materials in their catalogue. i normally listen to the mixes more than the albums, but i am due to get back into the first 2 albums as it's been awhile. i always love to give my faves a rest. then they sound even better when you revisit them!

One of my fav TFF tunes is the Working Hour... Played that nonstop for awhile. Indeed on the remixes, those versions were great to listen to vs the album mixes. The remix for Mothers Talk (both the video mix and "James Brown" mixes) are great.

The promo CD I linked to is an item I already have. I got it years ago on Ebay for roughly the same price. I also have loads of their remixes, b-sides, etc. The first 3 albums were perfect in that they formed a sort of trilogy in music terms. At one point I had Collusion, but years later sold it off on Ebay. That was a nice Japanese box set!

Interestingly enough, it only went for US $14.94. Good catch for whomever got it!

Can anyone tell me what the b-side was for the Mad World 7"? I think that was the one I used to play on a jukebox @ a Pizza Hut on my way home from high school. I haven't heard the song in about 25 years or more. Actually, what were the b-sides to all of the singles from the Hurting?

I was going to try and provide you with a list of B-sides here, but due to certain areas of the world having a different b-side, I thought I'd point you in this general direction: www.bongzero.com/index2.html

I haven't heard the song in about 25 years or more. Actually, what were the b-sides to all of the singles from the Hurting? in north america the b-side of mad world (third single) was called ideas as opiates. the first single, suffer the children had a crazy non tff sounding song called wino as the flip. and the flip of pale shelter was the prisoner (second single-first issue) and the back of change (4th single) was called the conflict and then pale shelter, which was actually the second single which was re-issued. the b side of that was we are broken. and the 5th single, the way you are had a track called the marauders as its b side. and as was mentioned, some countries have different b-sides, but in the case of the uk and north america, they're generally the same.

Ideas as Opiates is the one. I listened to it on YT and that was the one I loved so much. I used to play it all the time on my way from school. I had the album, but not that single.
