I have been a fan of Whitney's music since "You Give Good Love" came out. (Shows how old I am!) Such a loss of a wonderful talent. RIP Whitney. You will be missed.

I was suprised how much this news upset me. I guess i was still rooting for her to make a huge comeback and get herself together. Such a talent wasted

I just heard a drunk in a bar shouting this earlier, surprised it's true.

The manner of her death was tragic. I'm not sorry her music went off the charts though. For non-fans it was truly annoying back then all through the late 80s and into the 90s that you couldn't escape her voice. She was like a precursor to Celine Dion. I still remember Saving all my love hitting the charts ... shudder.
