In the thread regarding the next Duran album I mentioned that me and my brother (who is a bassist) had recently completed the first of many instrumental pieces which are intended to be released online as a fully instrumental compilation at some point in the future.
Under the moniker 'Faded Print' we aim to project a synth and bass-driven 'new wave' sound, largely inspired by the likes of Simple Minds, Duran Duran and Japan. Whilst this is perhaps not fully evident from the first track, it is certainly a progressive step towards developing it.
I would welcome any comments or constructive criticism (should you have any). More songs will be added as and when they are completed (I've listed the first track as a 'demo' just for the time being though).
