Amanda de Cadenet likes to talk about sex.
The British photographer — and BFF of troubled star Demi Moore — even dares to quiz some of Hollywood’s biggest names about their favorite lovemaking positions.
“I am down with all of them,” Gwyneth Paltrow tells Amanda on her new talk show, “The Conversation,” which starts next week on Lifetime.
Jane Fonda shares too: “While I am quite flexible and I can kneel, [sex] is not quite as comfortable for me as it used to be before I had a fake knee.”
Who is Amanda de Cadenet and why are famous women telling her these things?
De Cadenet — who married Duran Duran guitarist John Taylor when she was just 16 — acknowledges she is a complete unknown in America.
But Lifetime boss Nancy Dubuc believes the 39-year-old mother of three is a perfect fit for her network in the era of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
“I watched the firestorm, the domino effect of the very first woman in my circle to admit having read ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ ” Dubuc says.
“And it took about 6.3 seconds for the other 50 women to admit that they had read it, too. You are just waiting for that first person or that first show or that first moment.
“We are in a cultural moment,” she tells The Post. “Literally and figuratively, women are coming out of the closet about how they feel and asking tough questions, which is what this show is about.”
The cable channel — until recently, best known for made-for-TV movies about treacherous spouses and moms in crisis — is trying to reinvent itself with a sexier approach to programming that would once have been considered taboo.
“I think women are having conversations that are far more provocative, intellectual, stimulating and humorous than most people give us credit for,” says Dubuc. “Amanda sort of represents . . . the image that Lifetime wants to be projecting.”
Last week, the estrogen-fueled network scored almost 3 million viewers for its premiere of “The Client List” — a new series in which scantily dressed Jennifer Love Hewitt gives more than back rubs while working at the local massage parlor.
“The Conversation” is paired on Thursday nights with “7 Days of Sex,” a show Dubuc calls “a social experiment,” which investigates whether a week of intimacy can strengthen or save a marriage.
De Cadenet — who hosted a pair of talk shows in the UK as a teen — says she began filming candid interviews with her celebrity friends in hopes of broadcasting them on the Internet.
“I always said you couldn’t pay me to go back on TV,” she insists. “It is not a lifestyle I enjoyed.”
Her subjects — stars like Lady Gaga, Sarah Silverman and Eva Longoria — are women that “you think you may know, but you may also hold in a light that is unrealistic. But the truth is that we are all kind of dealing with the same stuff.”
Most interviews are filmed on a couch at the Los Angeles home she shares with second husband Nick Valensi, a guitarist for The Strokes, and their 5-year-old twins Silvan and Ella.
