i was there and this song was the misstep of the evening. nobody knew this song(theater full of casual and diehard duran fans). the crowd was numb in the beginning(everybody was expecting girls on film) but at the end the audience behaved politely and gave the band a good applause. ok the band loves bowie but i dont think the crowd does. i know i dont like bowie at all. ... as soon as girls on film started everybody forgave the band and we got back on business.

The chorus sounds great, sax and guitar sound good too. But Simon butchered the song during the verses

I ask myself ......why?? Boys Keep Swinging was good. This.....nope. Looked under rehearsed and a bit of a muddle.

c'mon its hardly a good recording - a mobile phone recording is hardly definitive! Starman clearly not a hit in Greece then.

I was looking forward to listening to this cover but that was really really bad! Worse Bowie cover ever made. Every single instrument was wrong. And John Taylor singing at the start was so out of tune...
