Yeah, I don't get it either. Someone on Twitter mentioned that Duran Duran should appear to sing 'Rio' during the handoff to Rio de Janiero (home for the 2016 games.) That would be great, but certainly we'd know something by now if that was the case.

Wanted to add, so far the closing ceremonies has been about 99.5% music and about .5% anything to do with the Olympics. It seems to have a lot more to do with Vegas than anything athletic.

No wonder the Queen has given it a miss. Yes,I thought of Rio. Perhaps they will be invited to play in Rio in 2016.
