Hi I'm Elf, and I have just joined this board. I like being able to chat with others who get why Duran Duran is so special. Anyways, while looking through the posts, I of course could not help but notice the pic at the top of the message pages. And was wondering if the pic looks to anyone else like Nick, & Roger are watching while Simon chastises John, as John stands there with this amused, yeah so what, look on his face? Can't help but find this pic to be cute as heck. What alternate takes do y'all have for this pic???

Hi and welcome to the board! It IS a great pic, and your description is exactly what it looks like! Unfortunately it had to be manipulated to look like that, as in the original pic Mark Ronson is standing between SLB & JT, facing Simon and bearing the brunt of his "finger wrath"!

When seen its original form, it gives more the impression of the band saying to Mark "OK, if we're going to listen to you and return to our vintage sound, you'd better deliver a us a record that reaches our vintage sales figures as well!" ;D Of course, despite it being a solid album, that didn't happen!
