Cigar Smoking aside (he needs to preserve his vocal chords!) I thought it might be fun to help him by having a random clever lines thread.
Maybe they might inspire something. I dunno. With the album waiting for inspiration I thought it wouldnt do any harm, and maybe we could make the difference.?
If you cant think of a line, bump with your own personal favourite lines.

ok, someone commented to me saying:
"So kill me, but don't hate me" - which I though was quite clever. Self deluded people always seem to get the upper hand, and it would be a great theme for a song. I made a whole wall chart of ideas on this riff. Hope DD can use them. See attach.
"Its all about perception" - I like simons often philosophical lines and so it depends how you look it it. why? exactly.
"Isn't it time?" - isnt it time we had a song about time?, especially as the boys have matured, and time, I cynically remind them, is of the essence. It could be a moral anthem representing the whole planet or a whisper to a girlfriend. Its a nice thought. It also reminds us of The Reflex, in that Time leaves us with a question mark.
