Still looking from time to time if the internet has some Genuine Stuff to offer, which hasn't been 'released'. Found this old link again, which is from Summer of 2007, previous to the ‘RCM’ release. www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20047913,00.html#flashybit This link plays an alternative mix of ‘Nite-Runner’ – it is in horrible quality, as the original swf file has only 531 KB, but it is different. There is a sound at ca. 1’26, which is missing in the released Album Version and the middle (starting at ca. 2’38) is unedited (ca. 7 sec. longer) as compared to the version on the album. Find the swf and a ‘recorded’ wav here: www.sendspace.com/file/zkr8qp

Thanks for the 'original' mp3! I only could grab the swf file and my swf-converter wasn't able to convert it, so I decided to 'record' it as a wav, and cut the beginning and the end. What did you use to grab the original file?

What did you use to grab the original file? As the mp3 is embedded inside the swf in this instance, there's an old bit of s/w called Sothink SWF Decompiler which allows the extraction of any element... Back in the day (well, when i was getting stuff for dd.no) it used to be handy from time to time, but this is the first occasion that i've seen something that it's useful for in a few years... & obviously it's a legacy file. Tech moves on of course, & Shockwave's a little old hat.
