Well April, there was a lot of crap coming from Germany music-wise. I listened much more to songs that came from the UK or the USA, however these are some cool songs from Germany which I still like:
Kraftwerk - Das Model
Nena - Nur geträumt (I still like that one, but they had an international hit with 99 Red Ballons)
Spliff - Carbonara
Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F.
Falco - Rock Me Amadeus (ok he was from Austria, but I think that should count)
Rainbirds - Blueprint
The Jeremy Days - Brand New Toy
Rio Reiser - Junimond
Phillip Boa & the Voodooclub - Kill Your Ideals or Container Love
there certainly are more songs that do not occur to me right now.
