Found my Rio EMI. It's EMI Asia. It lists Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong on the back. So now my next need is a UK EMI. Great! There are a few dozen of different Rio releases, how many do you have in your collection? Yesterday i received the Peruvian Rio release, a great one. It has no innersleeve but the lyrics are printed on the backside of the outer sleeve. Very nice! Like Frank wrote, join the 'latest addition' thread as we're always curious what our fellow collectors added to their collection. Have a great weekend and regards, Peter

Have a great weekend and regards, Peter I just started a few months ago, so I'm still getting the US/UK ones before I branch out to other foreign releases. I bought a sealed US on eBay that I was pretty excited to receive, only to find out it's a Columbia House release. Lesson learned. Sounds pretty good though. I have the US Harvest, Columbia House, and Asia EMI which I mentioned above (that I bought thinking it was the original UK release). First on my list is the original EMI, 2nd and 3rd US release. Anyone know how to determine the 2nd US release upon visual inspection. Tom's site says it has a sticker on the jacket that says remastered.

There are many different US versions. Based on remixed side one and whether Harvest or Capitol labels. One sure fire way to tell differences is the length of Hungry Like The Wolf. After it was remixed it is much longer than the original version. You can look at the vinyl and see how much "bigger" it is on the vinyl.
