www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/various-artists-the-hunger-games-mockingjay-part-1-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-20141218The artists on Mockingjay are mostly in their twenties or younger, which makes sense given their target audience. But two of the best songs come from heroes with ancient New Wave heydays. Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon plays the posh hook boy alongside U.K. troublemaker Charli XCX on the Victorian-crunk cut "Kingdom." And the album's most intense track by far is the pummeling dub seizure "Original Beast," by eternal disco mutant Grace Jones. It's a perfect example of how Lorde reaches into the wild-style past to push pop into a bold new future.

Grace jones song is horrid...all noise no substance...
Sorry Simon and Charlie's song one of the best on the album IMO....Tove lo Scream my Name is good and Lourdes Yellow Flicker beat..what I don't get is why none of the songs are in the movie? You would think you have an album soundtrack the songs on the album would be in the movie--that is why this album did not sell! I gurantee they would have sold more copies! I don't get that?
I get a headache listening to Grace Jones song..makes me want to pull my eyes out....

Grace Jones is one of those that you either like or don't like. She's unique, beautiful and in a class nearly all by herself.
