Yes. Very very funky with a modern twist thrown in. I like it, and its even a slight indication of how DD14 will sound I will be happy. The song called Daffodils almost sounded like Simon singing in falsetto the first time I heard it.

Yes it's funky and catchy and good. If DD go for this sort of dance floor while adding their own twist they'll be onto a winner. Daffodils is a great track!!

How come Mark did not ask Simon to sing on the album? Imagine all that publicity Simon and Duran if Ronson did a single with Simon? ?

Because I guess Mark is aiming for the Hot 100 market not the golden oldies or classical music chart ha ha. Simon was awesome on that Hunger Games song though!

Maybe because he was busy chasing Bruno Mars around the world. eta: I don't mean that in a snarky way. Just that Ronson obviously had Bruno Mars tapped for that album and he spent a lot of time getting that one song done. Busy schedule and all... Who knows, maybe he did ask Simon but Si declined because he was kinda busy with DD14?

Yeah that's the issue with DD, the charts are allergic to them, look what happened to Timbaland after he worked with DD. No wonder Ronson ran a mile for his latest release, but he did say nice things about his work with the.band in Rolling Stone online which is good publicity.

Simon's contribution on the track Record Collection was replaced by MNDR's for all the remixes of the song it seems
