Me too Ooh, am I correct in thinking that the Say The Word 7" instrumental mix has never been on CD before? That's one I've yet to hear. Hi jpalmer86 If I remember correct I think you maybe can find it on the unofficial Arcadia boxes? BTW, I think this is a great item! When we now have Duran duran time again, this is much better than nothing at all

Scraping the barrel somewhat don't you think? What's next, the Arena dvd soundtrack? Agree. Love the FC releases, but this is not my cup of tea. As the lights go down is probably next, as that will be a vinyl only release. For some reason live shows from the Wedding Album/TY era are missing from the FC catalogue, but several shows were professionally recorded. Yeah, I mean I happily bought the 'Dance Into The Fire' & 'As The Sun Goes Down' cd's as they had material that was previously unavailable, but these reprints of existing officially released material leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Duran Duran - This Band Is Perfect
2CD: DD Fan Club β’ DPRO-29814-2 (US 2019)
Pulled straight off the mixing desk, these rehearsal tracks capture the band transitioning from the acoustic performances of songs from "The Wedding Album" to the electric stage presentation of the "No Ordinary Tour". Recorded just a few days after the live satellite broadcast from Tower Records in Los Angeles, this previously unheard material draws back the curtain and takes fans into the band's private rehearsal space to reveal all the magic and hard work that goes into a Duran Duran performance. Presented here is a selection of the band's own reference audio recordings from the barker hangar at the Santa Monica, California airport just prior to the start of their eleven month world tour. It hits you with a groove to dilate your collector's mind.
Digitally mixed and mastered from the original archive tapes, 2CD set presented in a DVD-clamshell box with original picture sleeve, comes with 16-page oversized booklet of a rare promotional photographs plus official EMI/Parlophone biography.
Original 2CD set professionally mastered and manufactured (not a CD-R). Perfect soundboard quality (10).

Great! Will definetly buy that one! Nice - I've just ordered it. As I was browsing the store, I saw that it's been just about 5 years since the Unleashed CD came out - kinda hard to believe!

i will also be picking a copy up - albeit it will probably have to be in a week or so - as, whilst i tend to skip the re-releases, it's important to show support when there's something really cool imho. i'm also crossing my fingers that the release of these audio cassettes as CDs is a sign that the rehearsal VHS might soon be released as a DVD(?). [Edit] My phrasing here was apparently confusing - i wasn't saying that this new bootleg is a re-release; as it's previously uncirculated material... β¦& the reference to cassettes was just that this was the original source.

i've just realised that i can use the 'pay after delivery' option via PayPal - which surprised me a little as it normally doesn't work for non-UK purchases... ...so have just ordered my copy.
