Just read on another band board about New Order's new album called Music Complete that's coming out in September (I guess Warners is going to be busy that month!). Anyways, there will be a super deluxe issue of the album for only $99! Yeah, for $99 that's a bargain considering how much the VF screws you on prices. Here are the complete details for the box set:

8 piece deluxe vinyl collection.

New album on double clear vinyl.

Extended versions of all 11 brand new tracks on 6 pieces of vinyl:

Red / Blue / Yellow / Grey / White vinyl 12”s plus a 1 sided black etched vinyl.

Art Direction by Peter Saville.

200 copies will be signed by all 5 members of New Order; the signed editions will be dispatched at random and are exclusive to the New Order store.

Soooo..........why aren't we getting something like this for the new DD album? Umm...yeah...not all that excited about getting a T-shirt with the new album with their "deluxe" offering. If you want to pre-order the new album from New Order, go here:

I've seen quite a few box sets lately that are up there in price (and don't include as much), so this to me is a pretty good deal.

Apparently the release date of the box set has been pushed back to November.

Just read over on the New Order forum that someone had asked the New Order if the extended remixes would be available digitally when you bought the box set (there was no mention, so it led people to believe that they were going to be exclusive to the colored vinyl 12"s). The reply from the New Order store was "yes" - so sounds like you get everything digitally that you get in physical form.

More info on the extended remixes via customer service on the New Order website store:

We can confirm that if you’ve ordered the box set you’ll receive the standard digital album (as MP3 and HD files) on the 25th September, then when the box is dispatched in November it will contain a download code for you to access the extended versions (HD and MP3 versions).
