Bloody good result, up the REDS.
As for Shev, £30 million, now if Mourwhino had spent £3, that would have been too much, I wouldn't have given 50p and a mars bar for him.

It stuns me. Between Wright-Phillips and Shevchenko, Chelsea have got £50 million worth of talent on the bench. And yet neither of them can get a run of games. Bloody ridiculous, if you ask me.

Chelsea sure do know how to waste money, at least they won't be buying the league this season. They've spent loads of money for second or third place or worse. Hahahahaha.
For some reason, I thought Mark was a Red, don't know why.

There's a few of us Reds here, but Mark's not one of us. He's been a Chelsea supporter for years.

Back to Back reigning champions play in Blue Today's game was a disgrace. Putting a number of injuries aside, the players on the pitch were supposed to be of Premiership standard, and a number of them play for their various countries. Yes, some of them were asked to play in unfamiliar positions, but this was a very important weekend and some of them looked like they were asleep. This same Liverpool side had been beaten at home 6-3 by a bunch of Arsenal's kids yet Chelsea contrived to pass the ball to them on nearly every occasion. They made an average Liverpool side look good. A shame, I would rather have lost the game 4-2 or 4-3 than witness a display like that.

Injuries aside, the current speculation and back room arguments can't be doing morale at Stamford Bridge any good. Tales of friction between Mourinho and Abramovich, Mourinho's refusal(allegedly) to play Shevchenko, and the rumours of Jose's immenent departure are all going to have an effect on the team.
While I'm delighted that we finally broke our Premiership duck, today's match wasn't a patch on the great games we had with them in the Champions League and FA Cup. Now they were great games to watch.

I've come to expect a halfway decent match between these two. Today was, for us, a walkover, of sorts.

Only 5 points behind now, the Reds are catching up fast. Chelsea had better watch out for Arsenal. Finishing 3rd or 4th after spending all that money would be a disgrace.
Doesn't it make a change talking about football? We should do it more often.
