Who is so kind to help me understand the first line of this old British Gas commercial?
I mean the first sentence, which ends with the word 'soirée'.

Don't know what WA stands for in this context.

It's not WA, its WI, which stands for Women's Institute!
I only know this because my gran was a member of the WI!
