My team is the Mighty Reds...............the only British football team to own the European Cup................... Liverpool!!!!!!!!Aston Villa won it in 1982, and other English teams to win are Manchester United (LeBon's team) and Nottingham Forest. Liverpool have won it five times (more than any other English team, and third most overall behind Real Madrid and AC Milan), and they're the last English team to take it home (2005), but they're not the only ones. |

Once a team has won the cup five times, they get to keep it. A new one is then made for the following year's competition. Real Madrid have won it nine times, with AC Milan winning it six times. Liverpool have also won the FA Cup seven times, and the League(although Mark will be here soon to tell you we've never won the Premiership) a whopping eighteen times. If you're ever lucky enough to visit Liverpool's ground, Anfield, you should pay a visit to the Club Museum. All five cups are on display there, alongwith a ton of memorabilia and trophies. Sadly, not the Premiership, but our day will come. |
