During the downtime...ha!...is that Bud commercial real or CGI?
Yep...that's the question!
Touchdown!
Ok, I wanna see a game, not a blowout.

Apparently the Bears were unmoved by those treacly ESPN features about what the Saints mean to New Orleans.
Of course, to really make it count, there could be a furious second half comeback.

@um...the Saints' offense has shown up...even with Brees under pressure.
ETA: Touchdown for the Saints.
Ok, NOW the game is getting good.

I'm not discounting in any way what it would actually mean to the people of New Orleans. Though the Yankees lost the 2001 World Series, just having them in it at all was deeply significant to many, many people. My objection is with the craven way ESPN busts out the strings and pianos whenever there's a disaster they can link to sports. But I think ESPN in general is an abomination, from Chris Berman to Richard Vitale.

@stupe...I'm not either...but, yes, the sportwriters and telecasters are playing it to the hilt, when half the city is still demolished.
What happens when the football season is over?

Obnoxious end zone dive aside, that was a heck of a run by Reggie Bush.
