I just love Ugly Betty! its not long started in the UK. Think its a real easy to watch show, but its obvious Betty really isnt all that ugly at all in real life. Cool though, anyone else like?

It's on opposite My Name is Earl and the Office, the only two shows not called the Simpsons that we care about in our house. Ugly Betty doesn't have a chance with us.

I like it too - I watched the first episode in September thinking it wouldn't really be my thing, but I've stuck with it.
It's charming - very light, but not without a bit of substance. I usually tend to watch fairly heavy, 'worthy' shows - Ugly Betty is a good counterbalance, I guess.

Tho, I always miss the usual time slot, I have Ti-Vo it. At first, I didnt think I was going to like it, Im not a TV person, since there are tooooo many CSI's & reality shows. But I have been charmed with UB, it is entertaining!

My mother really enjoys it and tried to convert me to it over Christmas with the marathon on ABC Family, but unless they move it from being up against My Name is Earl and The Office, I'll have to experience it through recaps.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ugly Betty!!!! I'm not one to get hooked on t.v. shows, but besides Sex and the City, it's pretty much the only show I watch religiously.

I love it too, though I find it very similar to a film with Ann Hathway and Meryl Streep called The Devil Wears Prada.

I'm not all that keen. Channel 4 really gave it all they had with the hype, but it's just not as good as they promised. It's not bad, it's watchable and likeable, but not very funny compared to their other comedy hits like Shameless, Green Wing, My Name Is Earl.
It's a shame the casting people didn't actually pick an unattractive actress to play Betty, and I reeeeally hope Betty doesn't lose the glasses and braces, have a haircut and VOILA! Pretty Betty!
It's funny that the current affairs shows on tv & radio are talking about "ugly" being the new "pretty"!
