I just heard this afternoon on one of the local radio stations that there is talk of The Police appearing on the Grammys then following that up with an 80 date tour.
*crosses fingers*

Keep out the Sting solo joints, and I'm so there.

I love if this happen..
But I'm sure they wouldn't come near me..
If this does happen and you get to see them.. You'll have to report back to us who won't be seeing them..

I've been hearing about a reunion tour for the Police for quite some time, now. It's good to hear new rumors...

If they leave out all Sting solo work AND just do songs from the first three albums I'll go to any corner of the earth to see them.
I've got a soft spot for them - they're the first band I ever saw live.

Speaking of that first gig....what a coincidence....it was 25 years ago today! Here's the ticket stub I still have:

Would LOVE to see them. Never got a chance to see them as a teen.
Funny story, I've gotten my 16 year old neice hooked on 80's music (Duran included.) Gave her some old Police stuff, which she loved. A few weeks later she was talking about Sting, and I mentioned he was the lead singer of the Police. She was dumbfounded.
