Hi everybody, So I went and saw 'Bohemian Rhapsody' last weekend - a pretty good movie, sort of standard biopic stuff UNTIL close to the end, where the filmmakers delivered a 20-minute recreation of Queen's very famous Live Aid set. It's really amazing to watch, immersive and spectacular, with the camera work and the actors' performance capturing the energy of that day perfectly. As a result I've seen a LOT of renewed interest in Queen, and Live Aid in the past week. The YouTube video of their set has exploded from about 700,000 views to north of 70 million. I've seen threads on Twitter about Live Aid where young people lament that they weren't alive to see it, and talking about watching the clips on YouTube and being impressed by the music. Which, of course, got me to thinking that maybe it's time for a Duran Duran biopic. I think John Taylor's book "In the Pleasure Groove" would be perfect for adaptation, and I even spotted an actor who could play him: Cole Sprouse, who is currently in the TV show 'Riverdale' and looks just like John did back in the 1980s (except for being a little shorter than John): Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedDid anyone here see the movie? Thoughts???

I saw the movie yesterday. Love it. Best movie of the year.
The Live Aid segment at the end almost made me cry.
