...I was told I was going to be let go in two weeks time (this was quite a few years ago, btw). I was positive they couldn't wait a minute longer, coz I'd clashed with my boss from day one (a personality thing).....but they left me hanging for a f___ing month tho!....with no further word, so I went in one friday....picked up my pay, and said "see ya later". They were stunned that I left them in the lurch (his jaw dropped....he was pissed that I got in first). I walked out thinking "f___ you".....and having a chuckle to myself.

....and yes, I DID have another job to go to.
