I watched Dig! yet again last night. (A documentary about the rivalry between Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols.)
As I was watching it, I really thought that the label execs and such must know about artists' drug habits when they're signed. And they do NOTHING about it, as long as the artist keeps producing music. Then, when the addiction becomes an issue with the music, they get all critical about the artist and claim that they had no idea how 'crazy' the artist was. The artist then gets dumped.
I wonder if that's happening with Doherty, too. No one...NO ONE...seems to care about these people as long as they are still producing.
