I remember buying my copy of Big Thing on the Monday release day and got a free EMI publicity photo with the vinyl. Its the crowd shot from the IDWYL video. Did any other countries get similar freebies?

Yeah, there's an ad mentioning a free print which i didn't see in real time (& clearly must have bought it somewhere else - probably Andy's Records or WH Smith), & have had no idea what the print was... ...as there never seems to be either any copies of the album with it for sale nor anything that would look like a print.

Apologies, it would have helped if I said HMV and in the UK! It was the 'I like noise' shot. I think I went there because I saw the advert and because HMV was slightly cooler then. I may have also thought it was a chart return shop too.

Oh, i understood that it was the UK, but just wanted to check that it was the HMV print - as it was always possible that there was something that i was unaware of.
So, from what you're saying then it was this image - but was it this specific 10x8 or something similar? Attachment Deleted

That's the one! None similar from US or European experience? Many thanks for the confirmation on that, as i've been wondering what the HMV print was for years & years. (certainly at least 15-20, but i'm not sure if i originally saw the advert earlier - just not in time to be useful)
