Did they confirm that the title is actually Invisible at least? yes, but that was already confirmed for some time... I know Nick said it on the Red Ronnie show but I saw the name change twice on this board...

Bit of a "Some Like It Hot" bassline.

Who was driving and who was pouring tea in the UK? That's exactly what I am doing at 10pm every Saturday night. Honest.

Frustrating short snippet but really enjoyed these 2 shows...

It sounds fantastic. Can’t hardly wait until 5/19, which will likely be Tuesday night in my neck of the woods.

Yeah like a bit hard to comment on the snippet, it felt like I was whacked in the face with a frying pan with no time to take in the effects.
I sense it's going to be a grower though unlike pressure off where I instantly fell for it.
Surprised there was no mention of reportage, I know it was about 40 songs but you'd have at least thought it would have been briefly bought up as the casual radio 2 listener may have found that interesting.

From what I heard.. need more ! Lol I was actually! Lol. I was driving back from collecting my Saturday evening take away, heart still racing because the place I go to shut early tonight, so went elsewhere, and was panicking just incase I didn't get out in time to hear the track!!! I just made it, as Nick was discussing Universe Alone. Phew! An enjoyable programme tonight! Things sounded really good listening in the car! I like to listen again, to check little details I might have missed, but a few random points... - Duran Duran sound incredibly good, particularly for part 2 of the show, an era when many people thought they were finished, past their best etc - I still don't like Duran Duran late 90s music. But hey, each to their own taste. - I still have a soft spot for Nite Runner, and wish they had gone for that as an opening single from RCM, rather than Falling down. - AYNIN has a fantastic chorus and bridge. It also has a horrific verse, and irritating synth wailing sound. That's a pity because the chorus is 'classic' Duran sounding. -Girl panic is another fantastic track, but was ruined by overthinking the video, and ruining it with weird interludes. Stick to the 3 minutes odd song, along with a shorter video (which should have got them more publicity than it did) And what an exciting ending to the show. Track number 40 being the new one. I momentarily relived my youth, remembering the excitement of hearing a new Duran Duran track on the radio!!! Sounds very exciting on first listen! I will head off now & probably listen to it 100 times now, if I can find it!

If you compare the first hour to the second one it becomes clear they haven’t made a decent album since 1993 (I’m not including the Taylor less albums as that wasn’t even Duran Duran as we know it - although I personally love a lot of the songs on those two records).
Apart from the odd song here and there their output has been pretty average as far as the quality of the music is concerned. It got worse after Astronaut (which had a handful of decent songs on it) with RCM and AYNIN - and improved slightly with Paper Gods.
The contrast between just how good they used to be became even clearer when right after the snippet of Invisible they played the intro of Ordinary World again. Quality wise those two songs seem to be worlds apart - even though I reserve full judgement until I hear the full track.
Nothing they’ve done in the last 20 years comes even close to TWA. The bit of the new song they played sounds a little too much like ‘All You Need Is Now’ (the song) to me. I hope I’m wrong.
