Lol! I suppose it would help if Katy asked the question in a simple and straightforward manner to begin with! 😁 I always find it’s better to do some research beforehand. It's not just the easy to answer questions where the questioner could have done some research before hand, but thought provoking ones or something else other than, "Duh, hey....uh...do you still wear that necklace that has a tiger on it?" Know what I mean? And the issue with Simon is that when you do ask him a really good question, he come back with some off the wall reply instead of giving the respect that's due to the person asking it. For example - me: "Hey, Simon, when you and the band were going through the process of writing and fleshing out tracks for the new album, what made you and the band bring in Graham Coxon to lend his guitar talent to the album?" Simon: "Did you know that on Mars, scientist think they may have come across a bidet made of solid dark chocolate that's filled with slices of green cheese? Wooooosh!" LOL LOL 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

What makes you think he'd come out with this sort of book when he can't even give a simple and straight answer to any question that's been posed to him on Ask Katy?

Oooh! Maybe we'll get the real story behind the leopard skin pants! Exactly. You can’t expect people to work out Simon’s story through his lyrics. An idea of an autobiography is to put your life story down in plain English so everybody can understand *easily* when they sit down in a comfy chair, enjoying a Latte or whatever. It’ll be done eventually - and it will be a best seller.

I don't trust many autobiographies - even "warts and all" accounts tend to get photoshopped and airbrushed.
Of course I will happily read Simon's, just as I have Andy's and John's. And I will trust his accounts exactly the same as for Andy and John - an interesting and enjoyable read, but hard to tell the 100% truth from the stretched truth.
Possible titles:
- Give Me A Wristband - Two-fifths = 20% - Chopstick Head Strikes Back - Le Bon Livre - I Am The Tiger Baby

The subject of SLB's autobiography is something close to my heart as as well. Part of why I started to update the fandom wiki timeline was indeed in case he wanted to look back and remember things for a book.
As mentioned before, Simon has always snubbed the idea of a book for several reasons:
- I dont have enough time to sit down and look at that right now. - Writing a book is something you do when you're old and retired, and there's plenty more to come. - Fans appreciate that all of our songs have a deeper meaning, and revealing those secrets in a book might spoil it for some people. - Some of the songs do have personal meanings, that I want to keep private. - I'm a stickler for privacy; I dont usually do autographs or photographs; and I think private life should be just that.
Notice that as a millionaire, he has never mentioned the subject of money in any of his interviews, except when talking about the cheap cost of making those early videos, or the expense of refurbishing Drum. For names it would have to be "Whooosh! - Simon Le Bon - Naked!"
This was posted in 2009 but maybe you've all see this before.

I had never heard this before, and it really tied together some things for me regarding Simon
